Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By using Digital Perimeter ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Digital Perimeter is a privacy tool that:

• Reads your own public profile data on LinkedIn and GitHub through a browser extension that operates within your authenticated session
• Checks your email against known data breaches via Have I Been Pwned
• Submits data deletion requests to data brokers on your behalf (DELIST and CONCIERGE plans)
• Provides guidance on locking down your privacy settings

3. Your Responsibilities

• You must have the legal right to access any LinkedIn or GitHub account you connect
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your authentication credentials
• You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• You understand that the Service provides guidance and automation but cannot guarantee 100% removal from all data brokers

4. Plans & Billing

Free tier (SCAN): LinkedIn and GitHub exposure scanning, basic breach checking.
LOCK ($9.99/month): Privacy lockdown guidance, monthly reports, breach alerts.
DELIST ($19.99/month): Automated data broker opt-outs (125+ sites), dark web monitoring.
CONCIERGE ($49.99/month): Manual broker handling, executive audit, identity insurance.

All paid plans auto-renew monthly. Cancel anytime from your account dashboard or by contacting us. No refunds for partial months.

5. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with:

• LinkedIn: Authentication via OpenID Connect. Subject to LinkedIn's API Terms of Use.
• Have I Been Pwned: Breach data provided under HIBP API v3 terms with attribution.
• Stripe: Payment processing. Subject to Stripe's Services Agreement.
• Mailgun: Email delivery. Subject to Mailgun's Terms of Service.

6. Limitations of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• That all public fields will be detected (LinkedIn's page structure changes)
• That all data brokers will process opt-out requests
• That breach detection is comprehensive (limited to HIBP's database)
• Uninterrupted or error-free service

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Digital Perimeter's liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the preceding 12 months.

7. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these terms, illegal activity, or non-payment. Upon termination, your data is handled per our Privacy Policy.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated via email 30 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Palmerston North, New Zealand.
